Behind the scenes look at the production process of Tale of How. We were asked to do a talk at Resfest Capetown. We had one of these Q&A’s before, where we just stood there in front of a theatre full of people staring blankly at us and we staring blankly back at them. We decided that for this event we will answer questions without people having to ask them (even if they never planned to ask them in the first place) and we made this documentry instead. Done over a weekend on a stolen computer, with more action stories that we dare not mention…
Fantastic to see this folks. Ree’s work is a huge inspiration to me, and make me long for the days when collaborative efforts were small, intimate, insane affairs,rather than commercially driven 4 year opuseseseses.

I think I shall quit my day job, assemble a small group of friends and live off of noodles and pocket lint and great animations. yeahs.

Keep up the great art
There’s not a whole lot that I can say that hasn’t already been said. But the words mind-blowing, amazing, fantastical and truly inspiring are a few words that come to mind. Watching the first few seconds of “The Tale of How” was quite depressingly more interesting and amazing than my whole life. There may be a very slight exaggeration in saying that, but none the less, it was amazing. I must say that my eye balls were thoroughly entertained. Thank You.
