As part of the Pictoplasma Festival’s Character Walk, The Gang is exhibiting a bunch of new work from the Nike Stadium in Berlin, 6-10 April. Also, Ree will be giving a quick talk as a returning guest speaker. Check out the website, and stop by if you’re in the Area. The opening is on the 6th, 19h00.
The Blackheart Gang’s Jannes Hendrikz and Ree Treweek started a commercial production company, Shy the Sun, along with producer Nina Pfeiffer. Their first job, United Airlines, kick started the company in September 2007 and was completed February this year. United was a unique job because they were given an open brief to do what they wished with enough time to craft it to perfection in cinema resolution. The agency BDM gave them incredible guidance to complete an amazing international campaign.

We were approached by the guys from FCB Canada to produce a spot for HP, an online game that ran over Christmas 2006. Ree drew all the elements, Jannes did the video intro and outro, and markus did all of the music and sound effects.
